Hi. Lynn Louise Says do the selfie scavenger hunt for the Preakness race. It says Kentucky Derby, but it can be used for any race. It's perfect and will be memorable, so take plenty of photos for after.
This game will prompt all to take a variety of horse race pics that everyone will like. Here are some ideas on how to play the game: Set a time limit and see who can complete the most challenges.
You can do them as a team or individual or split them up. Pick a hashtag for your group so everyone can share them together.
You can make them as risque as you want or neutral as you want. Hand each guest a card or split into teams. See if they can complete the selfie photos listed before the end of the party to see who has the most points wins.
The game comes in a set of 12 and is printed on heavy cards stock and is shaped like a horse.
Wagering . . . Ask each guest to draw a horse's name out of a hat and contribute $1 for a friendly wagering game. Write every horse's name and starting position on a piece of poster board and write the guests' names next to the horse they drew. After the race, the winner gets to take home the pot. Tip:
If you have more guests than horses for your betting game, include extra slips of paper in the hat that duplicate horses' names. The winners can share the pot.
When the race is finished, Murder Mystery group playtime is fun:
When the murder mystery is solved, it's time to start having fun in the costumes!
There's lots of role-play choices!
